Attorney David Hansen

David P. Hansen joined Aiken, St. Louis & Siljeg, P.S. in 1999. He has been a shareholder since 2000, and he currently serves as President of the law firm.

Prior to joining Aiken, St. Louis & Siljeg, P.S., he was in-house counsel to Cigna Property & Casualty Companies from 1987 until the sale of the Company in 1998. David's practice emphasizes insurance defense and civil litigation. He has tried cases to juries in all of the major Counties in both Western and Eastern Washington. David is Panel Counsel for the State of Washington for several national insurance companies and their third party administrators. David is routinely appointed by the King County Superior Court to serve as an arbitrator in civil cases subject to mandatory arbitration.

David was admitted to practice in the State of Washington in 1980. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

David received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1979 from the University of Puget Sound Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors in Political Science, from the University of Puget Sound in 1975.
